Xenon Capital Markets is an expanding European Energy Trading Fund.  Given the significant results achieved, we are now looking for Junior Power Traders as part of a 24/7 shift rotation. The role will sit directly with Senior Traders, where you will undergo a steep learning curve with immediate involvement in trade execution and risk management.

Job Responsibilities

– Learn, execute and develop proprietary methodologies across EU power markets

– Collaborate with trading group and internal fund departments

– Extensive fundamental research

– Work as part of 24/7 shift rotation

Ideal Candidate

– Driven individuals who share the funds ideology to be a market leader in energy trading

– Recent graduates with strong academic record, current junior traders or high achievers looking for career change

– Strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA; python knowledge desirable

– other statistical programming a plus

– Excellent numeracy, analytics, combined with strong communication skills.
